Elections - December 8, 2010

On December 8th, 2010, we will be having officer elections for the IVBNG. Officers server for two years where possible. There's no salary, but you get the benefit of being an active part of this community, and the appreciation of your fellow members. Oh, and it's a good bit of fun :)

We will be voting for a Vice President and a Secretary, to server from 2011 through 2013. Additionally, a new position has been added: Committee Director. Current officers are certainly welcome to toss their hats in the ring (that's Tony and Jean) or they may step aside for another enthusiastic person. We also have a vacancy at Treasurer. As a bonus, you would only need to serve as Treasurer through 2011. Below are the job descriptions for each of these jobs.

Note: REFERRAL SYSTEM COMPLETE: We now have a form so that you can refer another member of your group to someone in need of their service. As I've explained at the meeting, the person with the most referrals in October will have their advertising banner run atop this page in November free of charge.

Each week you will have 30 seconds to introduce your products or services to the group. This is commonly known as an elevator pitch... meaning if you can explain your proposition to a stranger before the elevator reaches its destination your pitch is probably just right.

So come join us and practice your pitch on us!

Send us a banner 468 x 60 pixels in size and we will run it in rotation above until January 2009. After that time we will charge a small fee and/or award the placement to those who contribute to the group in a positive way.

How to use this site

Quick links:

1. Register for this website (FORM!) . This is required so that we can display membership-only content for you.

2. Fill out the membership application online . If you have already done so on paper at a meeting you may skip this step. Be sure that a BNG officer receives your application.

3. Add your business listing including logo and optional photo. You cannot do this without Step 1.

4. Pay the yearly fee in person at an upcoming meeting. We will not publish any business listing until you are a paid member. If you have already paid, please allow 24 hours for us to activate your listing. Once activated, you may log in at any time to edit your listing and/or add logos.
